About Me
Hi, I’m Marissa! I grew up in Wise County, specifically Paradise and Decatur. Growing up, there was hardly anything out that direction. Any time we wanted to go shopping, eat out, or “piddling” (what we called adventuring) we would find ourselves in Fort Worth! All of my favorite days took place in Funkytown. My goal was always to book it to Fort Worth as soon as I graduated high school.
In a weird turn of events, I ended up in Alliance, Nebraska (an even smaller town) as a Train Conductor for BNSF. While I always knew that wasn’t my forever spot, it did teach me how to work fluidly with whatever comes my way. Nothing is ever going to plan out there!
After a few years of that, I found myself as a marketer in Tarrant County. Back where I belong with the people I love. Being in marketing and having more freedom to use my creativity ignited my entrepreneurial spirit. These two amazing careers I had found myself in gave me a strong foundation to pursue my dream career as a Real Estate Agent.
