Originally from the Fort Worth area of Texas, I’ve always been drawn to places that feel like home. Growing up, weekend outings meant heading into Funkytown for good food, spontaneous “piddling” adventures, and time with the people I love. My career path has been anything but conventional—from working as a Train Conductor in rural Nebraska, where I learned to stay calm and adaptable in unpredictable situations, to leading marketing efforts in Tarrant County, where I rediscovered my creative spark and entrepreneurial drive. After eloping in Colorado Springs, my husband and I fell in love with the city’s energy, beauty, and community—and decided to make it our forever home.
